Two Colour Monotone (by Vered) NOTE: This tutorial was created in Photoshop 7 but should be suitable for Photoshop 6. Also, this tutorial assumes you understand Photoshop layers and the location of photoshop tools. 1. First choose your image:
2. Go to the "Image" menu => "Adjustments" => "Desaturate":
3. Now choose the two colours you'd like to work with:
4. Make sure the darker colour is in the foreground, then go to the "Image" menu => "Adjustments" => "Hue/Saturation", and check the "Colorize" box (circled in red in the following image):
5. Add a new layer, and fill it with the second colour of choice:
6. Switch that layer's blending to "Multiply":
7. For the final touch, go back to the "Image" menu => "Adjustments" => "Hue/Saturation", and enhamce the saturation - in the following image's case I adjusted it to +27:
