Dotted Pattern (by Vered) NOTE: This tutorial was created in Photoshop 7and assumes that you understand Photoshop layers, layer blending brushes, and the location of photoshop tools. You can also use Photoshop CS. 1. Create a new image and then fill it up with the gradiant of your choice:
2. Duplicate the first layer and then go to "filters" menu => "pixelate" => "color halftone" and use the following settings:
3. This should be the result (or somewhere along this line):
4. Go to the "image" menu => "adjustments" => "invert":
5. Change the inverted layer's blending mode to "color dodge":
6. Add two new layers with a different gradiant that combines darker colours, like this for instance:
7. And finally set the two last layers to "linear burn" blending mode:
